Bangladesh Bus Accident: Horrific bus accident in Bangladesh due to high speed, 17 killed, 30 injured

Bangladesh: A horrific bus accident took place in Bangladesh on Sunday, in which 17 people died, while 30 people are said to be injured. The condition of some of the injured is said to be serious. In such a situation, there is a possibility that the death toll may increase. The injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment.  

According to media reports, this accident happened due to the high speed of the bus and the bursting of the wheel. Being in high speed, the bus lost control and fell into the ditch. This accident happened in Madaripur area of ​​Bangladesh. According to the police, the Dhaka-bound bus, operated by Emad Transport, went out of control on an expressway in Madaripur around 7.30 am. Madaripur Superintendent of Police Mohammad Masood Alam said that the injured have been admitted to different hospitals. 

Cause of the accident 

Deputy Assistant Director of Fire Service, Faridpur, Shiplu Ahmed said that it is believed that the wheel of the speeding bus burst and it lost control and fell into the ditch. Three units of fire service are doing rescue work on the spot. He said that the identity of the dead and injured is yet to be ascertained. 

Total 43 passengers were on the bus
