For about a year and a half, Flamini was living in a cave 230 feet deep near the city of Granada. During this he was cut off from the outside world.
Beatriz Flamini tells that she used to do exercise, painting, drawing and knitting caps in the cave. Apart from this, he also read many books in the cave. They used to eat and drink inside the cave itself. It has been told in media reports that he read 60 books and drank 1000 liters of water while living inside the cave.
And became a world record
This unique feat of Beatriz Flamini has been included in the Guinness World Records. This world record means that no woman has ever lived in a cave like her for such a long time before. Beatriz Flamini says that when she moved in, she initially counted every day. However, after 2 months he stopped counting the days.
The team reached inside and found them sleeping
Beatriz Flamini told in the press conference that on completion of 500 days, when a team entered the cave to pick her up, she was sleeping. He had no idea that his target had been met. Flamini says, "When people came to pick me up, I was stunned, I couldn’t believe that 500 days had passed." He said that he had almost no contact with the outside world while living in the cave.
