Sikh For Justice Protest in Canada: Sikh for Justice (SFG), a Khalistani separatist group active from Canada, will storm the offices of the Indian Consulate in Canada next week in protest against the alleged murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara President Nijjar was allegedly shot dead in the parking lot after evening prayers on June 18, 2023. The local police is investigating this matter. However, no one has been arrested in this yet. Investigators are searching for three suspects.

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, legal advisor of Sikhs for Justice, said, "We will not allow Indian consulates to function and we will pressure the Canadian government to name the individuals who are responsible for killing Nijjar and ordering his killing."
Demand to expel the Indian High Commissioner

Canadian PM had expressed doubt on India
At the same time, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau claimed on Monday (18 September 2023) that “An agent of the Indian government was behind this murder. They have received intelligence about this.” After this, Trudeau also expelled a top diplomat of India. At the same time, India’s Foreign Ministry has denied these claims of Trudeau and retaliated by dismissing the Canadian diplomat. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs wrote, “We urge the Government of Canada to take prompt and effective legal action against all anti-India elements operating from its soil.”
