Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar: Apart from IPL, Virat Kohli has praised master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar openly. Talking on IPL’s digital broadcaster Jio Cinema app, Virat has said that Sachin Tendulkar is an emotion for him. He also said that life used to be great when he used to score runs.
Recalling Sachin’s playing days on the Jio Cinema app, Virat said, ‘Sachin Tendulkar has always been an emotion for me. If you ask anyone about him, you will find that everyone saw him from his perspective and everyone had faith in him. Everyone also had faith in him. He was a source of encouragement and comfort. Life used to be good when he used to score runs.
Please tell that Sachin and Virat have played cricket together for about five years. While Virat made his debut for Team India in 2008, Sachin Tendulkar retired from cricket in 2013.
Virat’s bat is doing well in IPL
Virat Kohli’s bat is speaking fiercely in IPL 2023. He is continuously playing big innings. Recently, he has also played back to back big innings in all the three formats of international cricket. After being out of form for almost two and a half years, Virat regained his rhythm in the Asia Cup last year. After this, his bat has been spewing runs till now.
Virat can break Sachin’s record of ODI centuries
Virat has made a strong comeback in form and has taken steps to break some of Sachin’s records. He is just four centuries away from breaking Sachin’s record of most centuries in ODI cricket. Looking at the way he is scoring centuries in ODIs, he can break this master-blaster’s record this year itself.
