CRPF Accident Pulwama: Three CRPF personnel were injured when a truck laden with fruits hit them in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama on Wednesday (May 24) morning. An official said that a speeding truck rammed into the CRPF bunker on the national highway in Avantipora. He said that three CRPF personnel of 130 Bn were injured in the incident
All the three injured jawans have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the police has taken cognizance of the incident. CCTV footage of this accident has also come to the fore. It can be seen in the video that a CRPF vehicle is standing on one side of the road and suddenly a speeding truck from the other side overturns and hits the vehicle hard. Fruits were also scattered on the road after the truck overturned.

CRPF personnel deployed at 24×7 check-point
CRPF personnel were deployed at the 24×7 check-point as part of their ROP (Road Opening Party) duty. When the CRPF personnel were on duty, the speeding truck lost control on the highway and rammed into a CRPF vehicle parked on the roadside. The condition of the injured jawans is said to be stable.
CRPF sub-inspector killed in UP
On Wednesday, a sub-inspector of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) riding a motorcycle and his wife died after being hit by a speeding car in Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh. Five others have been injured in the accident. Police said that Jabar Singh (55), posted in Sonepat as a sub-inspector in CRPF, had come to his home in Sharifpur village on leave in connection with his son’s marriage. Police have taken custody of the hit car and efforts are on to arrest its driver.
