Etawah hospital facing acute shortage of medicines, doctors are not available for treatment in Kovid ward

UP News: Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Joint Hospital in Etawah is facing the problem of shortage of doctors. The number of government doctors here should be 132, but for many months only 64 doctors are present here. In this regard, Chief Medical Officer of Etawah Geetaram says that the government has been corresponded several times regarding the shortage of doctors, but still the district hospital is running only on contract doctors.

Eighteen ventilators including eight ventilators sent by PM Cares Fund are present in Kovid Hospital. Along with this, two mini ventilators are also present here. Along with this, all the equipments are available regarding the facilities given to the Kovid patients, but doctors have not been deployed in the Kovid hospital yet. At present the machines are regularly switched on and checked.
