Visiting Shri Jagannath is a very sacred experience for every devotee. Now the government has taken the initiative to make this journey even easier. Yes, Indian Railways is starting tourist train for Shri Jagannath Yatra from 25th January. Let us tell you that this train is being started under the Bharat Gaurav initiative. Its main objective is to promote domestic tourism. Passengers will not only be able to visit the Jagannath Temple through this train, but will also get a chance to visit some very ancient and holy cities like Gaya, Varanasi, pilgrimage sites and heritage sites of Odisha and Jharkhand etc. So, today in this article we are telling you about this train to be started under Bharat Gaurav initiative-
Train will start from 25 January 
The Shri Jagannath Yatra train will start from January 25. The journey will start from Safdarjung Railway Station in Delhi and will return on February 1. You can board and alight this train at Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Tundla, Kanpur, Etawah and Lucknow stations apart from Safdarjung Railway Station.

If you want to travel by Shree Jagannath Yatra train then you may have to spend around Rs.17655. This package will start from Rs.17655 for a single person. Through this package, passengers will travel for 7 nights and 8 days. All kinds of arrangements have been made for the convenience of the passengers in the train.

Shri Jagannath Yatra train will run from Safdarjung Railway Station. The first stop of this journey will be Varanasi. In this city, tourists will see corridors connecting Kashi Vishwanath Temple to the ghats of the river Ganga. Along with this, tourists will also be a part of the aarti performed on the banks of the river. After this the train will go to Jharkhand and the passengers will visit the famous Baidyanath Dham temple here. After this there will be a journey to Puri. Here arrangements have been made for the travelers to stay for two nights in hotels. During this time tourists will get an opportunity to see the temples of Bhubaneswar along with Golden Beach of Puri, Jagannath Temple and Sun Temple at Konark. The last destination of this journey would be Gaya, where the pilgrims would visit the Vishnupad temple. After this the train will start its return journey.
