TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee hit back at Amit Shah’s attack, ‘I will retire from politics myself if…’

Amit Shah Bengal Visit: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on his Bengal tour on Friday (April 14) said that Abhishek Banerjee will never become the Chief Minister of Bengal. Reacting to Shah’s statement, Abhishek Banerjee said that if the central government releases Rs 1.15 lakh crore dues of West Bengal, he will distance himself from politics.

Actually, this comment of the TMC leader came after Union Home Minister Amit Shah targeted the West Bengal government on several fronts ranging from infiltration to corruption.

Abhishek Banerjee’s reply in tweet

CM Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee said on Twitter, "Home Minister Amit Shah, you talked about my imaginary ailments, but did not care to rectify the damage your BJP has done to West Bengal. If my existence bothers you so much, then give my state the right of Rs 1.15 lakh crore. I will disassociate myself from the political arena."

@AmitShah, you spoke of my imagined ills but didn’t care to address the harm @BJP4India has inflicted upon West Bengal.

If my existence hurts you to this extent, release the ₹1.15 Lakh Crore rightfully due to my state and I’ll withdraw myself from the political arena.

The next Chief Minister will be from BJP – Shah

Earlier in the day, Amit Shah while addressing the ‘Jan Sampark Samavch’ rally in Birbhum district said that BJP will not allow this Hitler-like rule of Mamta Didi to continue. Comparing Mamta Banerjee’s rule with Hitler, Amit Shah said that CM Mamta is dreaming that her nephew Abhishek Banerjee will become the Chief Minister of Bengal, but the next Chief Minister will be from BJP.

Shah lashed out at the Mamata Banerjee-led West Bengal government and urged the people to give 35 out of 42 seats to the Bharatiya Janata Party in the state in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Modi will become the Prime Minister of the country again

Banerjee’s only goal

Amit Shah claimed that Banerjee does not care about the youth of Bengal who are being duped in the school job scam as her only target "He has to make his nephew the next chief minister of this state."

Union Home Minister claimed, "But let me make it clear that the next Chief Minister of West Bengal will be from BJP. Only BJP can fight and defeat the corrupt TMC. Under Mamata Banerjee’s rule, West Bengal has become a hub of bomb making factories."
