Now Kangana Ranaut has given her reaction in this matter.

Banning the film is an insult to the Constitution

According to the news agency PTI, Kangana Ranaut said, ‘The banning of the film The Kerala Story, passed by the Central Board of Film Certification, in some states is an insult to the Constitution. Kangana Ranaut told reporters, ‘Banning a film which has been passed by the censor board is an insult to the constitution. It is absolutely wrong to ban The Kerala Story in some states. 

People have complaints against the Bollywood industry

The actress told that people keep complaining to the Bollywood film industry that the kind of films they want to see are not made. Kangana Ranaut said, ‘When a film like The Kerala Story is made, people’s grievances go away. The film industry only benefits from the films that people like to watch.’

Supreme Court stays the ban on the film

It is known that the West Bengal government had banned the film The Kerala Story on May 8 in view of the tension between the communities. Theaters in Tamil Nadu had decided to stop screening it citing law and order situation and poor viewership. However, last week the Supreme Court stayed the West Bengal government’s order banning the film in the state and asked Tamil Nadu to ensure the safety of those watching the film.
