The dead body of a stock manager living in Gulmohar Society, located in Sector Pi-1 of Noida’s Beta-2 police station area, was found in his room on Wednesday evening. Police gave this information. He told that the neighbors informed the police about the matter when foul smell emanated from inside the closed room. The police reached the spot along with the forensic team and started the investigation.
The police have expressed apprehension that the manager died due to excessive drinking. Liquor bottles have been found from the spot.
Beta 2 Kotwali in-charge Vinod Mishra told that Gaurav Srivastava lived with the family in Gulmohar Society. He was working on the post of Share Manager in India Bulls Company.
He told that the person living in the neighborhood informed on Wednesday evening that foul smell was coming from Srivastava’s room. Police reached the spot after getting information about the incident. On entering inside, he saw Gaurav’s dead body. The room was locked from inside.
He told that his wife was not there at the time of the incident. She had gone to Sweden ten days ago with her seven-year-old daughter. He told that during the investigation it was found that Gaurav was suffering from liver disease.
