Challenges related to production

A report in The Information said that Apple is facing challenges related to production. Apple’s suppliers are using a new manufacturing process. For this reason, the bezel size has been reduced for the two Pro models in the 15 series, which has caused problems with the displays made by LG Display.
The credibility of the display is in question
According to the report, the displays made for the iPhone 15 series have failed in terms of credibility. This low injection pressure was found when passing through the over-molding process. In this process, the display (iPhone 15 Pro Max) is fused with the metal frame before assembly. Changes are being made in the design of the display (iPhone 15 Pro) from Apple, so that it can meet the credibility scale. However, there doesn’t seem to be such a problem with displays made by Samsung as a supplier to Apple. It is likely that the Cupertino firm will have to rely on Samsung’s displays to help it ramp up unit numbers.
