3868 subscribers disconnected
Revenue recovery campaign of Ajmer Discom is going on between January 20 and January 31 under the leadership of Managing Director NS Nirvana. Under the campaign, the corporation’s team has collected revenue of more than Rs 12.96 crore from 9907 consumers. Connections of 3868 consumers have been disconnected for non-payment. The MD said that the discoms had fixed targets for the officers and employees for recovery of arrears of revenue from the high arrears consumers. The officers and employees of the discom have worked hard and collected a revenue of about 13 crores in just three days.
This amount to be recovered from these 11 districts
Target 102 percent in this financial year
MD of Ajmer Discom told that in the current financial year till December, 99.34 percent record revenue has been recovered. The corporation has a target of 102 percent revenue recovery this financial year. He expressed confidence that the officers and employees of DISCOMs will continue to work hard and achieve this target easily. He said that Ajmer Discom is committed to uninterrupted power supply to all consumers. It is the responsibility of all the consumers to deposit the electricity bill on time, so that the financial condition of the discom can be further improved.
