Jairam Thakur Attacks on Himachal Pradesh Government: Leader of Opposition in Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Jairam Thakur officially assumed his office on Monday. During this, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur first expressed his gratitude to the BJP high command. During this, Leader of the Opposition Jairam Thakur took a dig at the Himachal government and said that the present government is a government with locks, since the time the Congress party came to power, the work of installing locks is going on one after the other. First the government closed more than 900 institutions and after that the cement plant was also locked. He said that the government has failed to resolve the cement plant dispute. This has created a crisis in the employment of thousands of people.
Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is known for spontaneity and simplicity, but both these elements are not visible in the government. He said that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu had talked about changing the system, but the government is working to put a burden on the general public in the name of changing the system. Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that the government increased VAT on diesel by Rs 3 for the restoration of old pension scheme.
‘Government should think about the poor’
He said that the BJP welcomes the issues of the interest of the employees, but no such work should be done, due to which the poor man is burdened. He said that the poor man has also voted for the Congress party and the government should think about the poor section as well. Jai Ram Thakur said that on one hand, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is talking about change in the system and on the other hand, the state’s money is being wasted by giving cabinet rank to Deputy Chief Minister, six Chief Parliamentary Secretaries and four others in a small state.
Government should not cry for the economic pauper: Jairam Thakur
Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur also gave a big statement regarding the economic condition of Himachal Pradesh. He said that the government is talking about emptying the coffers of Himachal Pradesh, but the government does not have any strategy to raise resources. The Congress is continuously talking about the loan taken during the previous government. The loan was also taken by the Congress between the tenure of 2012 and 2017. Congress should stop misleading the public now. He said that the public wants to see what work the Congress government is doing while being in power. He said that repeatedly cursing the opposition will not work.
