According to a news of Indian Express, BCCI has selected the 15-member Indian team for the World Cup. KL Rahul has been given a place in the team. Whereas Sanju Samson has not got a chance. Along with Samson, the famous Krishna and Tilak Verma have also not been able to make a place in the Indian team. Ishaan Kishan has got a place in the team. BCCI has also included Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer and Suryakumar Yadav.
According to the report, BCCI has also given place to all-rounders Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Akshar Patel and Shardul Thakur in Team India. If we talk about bowling attack, then Jaspreet Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj have been included in it. Spinner Kuldeep Yadav can also make a place in the team.
BCCI has to announce the team for the World Cup 2023 by 5 September. It will submit the final team to the ICC. The board has taken special care of KL Rahul’s fitness. According to the report, the medical team has given the green signal regarding Rahul’s fitness. Rahul is working hard at the National Cricket Academy. He is playing well in the nets.
