With this, he broke his previous record of giving wickets on spin bowling for the most number of times in a Test series. Earlier in the year 2021, during the Test series against England, Virat Kohli became the victim of spinners 5 times. Recently, this has emerged as his biggest weakness. Todd Murphy sent the pavilion four times
And the big problem for Virat is that he was continuously targeted by two debut spinners in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023. Australian bowler Todd Murphy dismissed Virat four times. Whereas Matthew Kuhneman sent Kohli to the pavilion twice. Spins were played on the track. In such a situation, Kohli could not survive here at all. Kohli returned to the pavilion cheaply in 5 innings of these three matches. He could score only 111 runs in these 5 innings. However, when he got a batting wicket in the last Test, Kohli improved his performance by scoring 186 runs.
