Pakistan Super League, 2023: The 27th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 season is being played between Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans at Rawalpindi ground. In this match, Peshawar Zalmi’s team, batting first, scored 242 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 6 wickets, in which captain Babar Azam scored 73 while Saim Ayub scored 58 runs. On the other hand, the Peshawar team scored a total of 24 runs in the last over of their innings. Whereas the fourth ball of this over would have hit a six, but Kieron Pollard, while fielding brilliantly, caught a surprising catch on the boundary line. Giving a bang, added 134 runs for the first wicket. From here it was not an easy task for the bowlers of Multan Sultan to reduce the pace of runs. Peshawar Zalmi’s team had scored 218 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 19 overs. The team was expected to bowl better from Anwar, who came to bowl the last over for Multan Sultan, but he gave away 24 runs alone in the entire over to take the score to 242 runs.
