ODI World Cup: Wasim Jaffer selected 15-member Team India for the World Cup, Shikhar Dhawan also included

Wasim Jaffer 2023 ODI World Cup Team: The 2023 ODI World Cup is to be played in October-November this year. ICC has also announced the schedule of this Mahakumbh of cricket. A total of 48 World Cup matches will be played in 10 cities of India. Till now the Indian Cricket Board has not selected the Indian team for the World Cup. Meanwhile, former Indian veteran batsman Wasim Jaffer has selected India’s 15-member team for the 2023 ODI World Cup. He has also selected Shikhar Dhawan and Sanju Samson in this team. 

During the discussion on Geo Cinema, Wasim Jaffer selected his favorite 15-member team for the 2023 ODI World Cup. In this, he gave place to three openers. It stars Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Shubman Gill. They said, "I will have three openers. Even though Shikhar Dhawan will not be selected, but I will keep him as a backup opener in my team."

He further said about the middle order and spinner, "There is no doubt that Virat Kohli will play at number three. Shreyas Iyer will play at number four, KL Rahul at number five and Hardik Pandya at number 6. After this my three spinners will be Ravindra Jadeja, Akshar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav."

The former Indian opener said, "There will be Jasprit Bumrah in my XI of the World Cup, and there will be one of Shami and Siraj. I will choose two fast bowlers, in which Siraj and Bumrah. It is important for me that Hardik Pandya bowls because the World Cup is in India and I will have three spinners in the XI."
