Yashasvi Jaiswal Debut Test Century, India vs West Indies: The first match of the 2-match Test series is being played between India and West Indies on Dominica’s ground. In the game of the second day of this Test, a brilliant century innings has been seen from the bat of 21-year-old Yashasvi Jaiswal, who is debuting for India. Yashasvi has become the first Indian opening batsman to score a century in his debut Test, who has managed to do so on an overseas tour.
Yashasvi is the third Indian player to score a century in his debut Test in Test cricket. Before him, this feat was achieved by Shikhar Dhawan against Australia in the year 2013 and after that by Prithvi Shaw against the West Indies in the year 2018.

4th young Indian player to score century on debut
Yashasvi Jaiswal has also become the fourth youngest Indian player to score a century in his debut test. Prithvi Shaw is at the first place in this list with the age of 18 years 329 days. On the other hand, Abbas Ali Baig and Gundappa Vishwanath are on the third place. Yashasvi has completed his first Test century at the age of 21 years 196 days. At the same time, he is the third player after Rohit Sharma and Prithvi Shaw to score a century against the West Indies in the debut test. Yashasvi Jaiswal is also the 17th player to score a century on debut for India.
