Rohit has reached the second number in the list of Indian players in terms of completing 2000 Test runs in the shortest innings as an opener. He left Sunil Gavaskar and Gautam Gambhir behind. Gavaskar had achieved this position in 43 innings. Gambhir also achieved this feat in 43 innings. Sehwag is on top in this matter. He scored 2000 test runs in 39 innings.
