India vs West Indies: Team India had to face a crushing defeat in the second ODI played between India and West Indies. Host West Indies beat India by 6 wickets to level the series 1-1. One Day World Cup In the qualifier matches played for 2023, West Indies were defeated by teams like Zimbabwe and Scotland. Zimbabwe defeated the Caribbean team by 35 runs in the group stage match of the qualifiers. After this, West Indies had to face a big defeat by 7 wickets against Scotland in the Super-6 stage. Scotland won by bowling out the West Indies for just 181 runs.
Indian team failed in both batting and bowling department
In the second ODI played against West Indies, very poor performance was seen from Team India. The team was weak in both the batting and bowling departments. Batting first, Team India was all out for 181 runs.
Ishan Kishan scored an inning of 55 runs while batting on behalf of the team. Apart from this, Shubman Gill scored 34 runs. At the same time, five batsmen could not even cross the double figure. Batsmen scoring single digits included Sanju Samson, Akshar Patel, Umran Malik, Mukesh Kumar and captain Hardik Pandya.
