IND vs PAK: The pair of Ishaan and Hardik made a big record against Pakistan, achieved a place in this list

Hardik Pandya And Ishan Kishan: The third match of Asia Cup 2023 was played between India and Pakistan on Wednesday. The match remained inconclusive due to rain. Batting first in the match, India put 266 runs on the board in 48.5 overs in 50 overs. For the team, wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya put on 138 runs in 141 balls for the fifth wicket, which was the third highest partnership for the fifth wicket or below in the ODI Asia Cup. 

Pakistan captain Babar Azam and batsman Iftikhar Ahmed are at number one in the biggest partnership for 5th wicket or below in ODI Asia Cup. Both the Pak batsmen had added 214 runs against Nepal in the very first match of the Asia Cup 2023. After this, the pair of Afghanistan’s Asghar Afghan and Samiullah Shinwari is second in the list with a partnership of 164 runs. 

In the list, Hardik Pandya and Ishaan Kishan have achieved the third number by sharing 138 runs for the 5th wicket against Pakistan. In the match, Ishaan Kishan scored 82 runs in 81 balls with the help of 9 fours and 2 sixes. Apart from this, Hardik scored 87 runs in 90 balls with the help of 7 fours and 1 six. This was India’s highest partnership for the 5th wicket against Pakistan in the Asia Cup. 

Rest of Indian batting failure 

Apart from Hardik Pandya and Ishaan Kishan, all other batsmen of Team India failed. The top order looked a complete flop. Captain Rohit scored 11, Shubman Gill scored 10 and Virat Kohli scored 4 runs. At the same time, Shreyas Iyer scored 4 runs in the middle order. Ravindra Jadeja could not do anything while batting at number seven. Jadeja scored 14 runs in 22 balls. Apart from this, Jasprit Bumrah scored 16 runs while batting at number 10.
