Shubman Gill Century: Shubman Gill scored a brilliant century in the second ODI being played between India and Australia in Indore. Gill completed his century in 92 balls. His century included 6 fours and 4 sixes. Earlier, Gill had performed well in the first ODI played in Mohali, where he scored 74 runs in 63 balls. However, Gill had missed the century then. But today he scored the sixth century of his ODI career, which was his first century against Australia. 

Gill scored his sixth century in the 35th innings of the 35th ODI. Till now Gill has crossed the mark of 1900 runs in ODIs. Gill became the batsman who scored the most runs after 35 innings of ODI. With this century, Gill has also touched the figure of 1200 runs in ODIs this year. This is Gill’s first century against Australia. Before this, he had played a century against Bangladesh in the recently played Asia Cup 2023. Gill’s six ODI centuries also include a double century.

Gill is a player who has played all three formats for India. So far in his international career, he has played 18 Tests, 35 ODIs and 11 T20 Internationals. In 33 innings of Test, he has scored 966 runs at an average of 32.2, in which he has scored 2 centuries and 4 half-centuries. In ODI he has crossed the mark of 1900 runs. Apart from this, in T20 International, Gill has scored 304 runs in 11 innings at an average of 30.4 and strike rate of 146.86, which includes 1 century and 1 half-century. Gill is the batsman who has scored centuries in all three formats for India.
