Indian Hockey Team Won At 5s Asia Cup 2023: On Saturday, the Indian men’s Asia Cup team defeated Pakistan in the final of the Fives Asia Cup and won the title. India won 2-0 in the penalty shootout. At the end of full-time, the match ended in a 4-4 draw, due to which a penalty shootout had to be resorted to. While the Indian cricket team flopped against Pakistan on Saturday, the hockey team came out victorious.
Maninder Singh and Gurjot Singh scored goals for India in the shootout. At the same time, India’s wicketkeeper Suraj Karkera prevented Pakistan’s Arshad Liaquat and Mohammad Mortaza from scoring goals in the shootout. Mohammad Raheel scored two goals in full-time for India. Apart from this, Jugraj Singh and Maninder Singh scored 1-1 goals. Raheel scored for the team in the 19th and 26th minutes. While Jugraj Singh scored in the 7th minute and Maninder Singh in the 10th minute.
