Broad and Anderson have reached the second number in terms of playing most Test matches together. 

Anderson and Broad have played 138 Test matches together so far. There is only a pair of Dravid and Sachin ahead of them. Sachin and Dravid have played 146 test matches. In this case, the pair of Jacques Kallis and Mark Boucher is at number three. These two have played 137 matches together. Dravid and Laxman have played 132 Test matches together. Anderson and Alastair Cook have played 130 Test matches together. 

Significantly, Broad has announced his retirement from international cricket. He has taken 602 wickets in 309 Test innings so far (till writing the news). During this, he has done the feat of taking 20 five or more wickets. While have taken 10 wickets 3 times. Broad has played 121 matches in ODIs. Has taken 178 wickets in this. During this, taking 5 wickets for 23 runs in a match has been the best performance. Broad has taken 65 wickets in 55 T20 innings for England. 

Talking about James Anderson, he has taken 690 wickets in 341 Test innings. At the same time, he has taken 269 wickets in 191 ODI innings. Anderson’s best performance in ODIs was 23 for 5.
