Asia Cup: Rohit and Dhawan became centurions in the last Indo-Pak encounter of ODI Asia Cup, won by 9 wickets

IND vs PAK, ODI Asia Cup: Asia Cup 2023 will be played in ODI format. Earlier the tournament was played in ODI format in 2018. This time in the tournament, Team India will play its first match against Pakistan on Saturday, September 2. The last Indo-Pak encounter in the ODI Asia Cup was in 2018, in which the Indian team won thanks to the centuries of captain Rohit Sharma and opener Shikhar Dhawan. Let’s know what was the condition of the whole match.

Batting first in the match, Pakistan scored 237 runs for 7 wickets in 50 overs. For Pakistan, experienced batsman Shoaib Malik played an inning of 78 runs with the help of 4 fours and 2 sixes. Apart from this, the then captain Sarfaraz Ahmed scored 44 runs with the help of 2 fours. Apart from this, no batsman could play a big innings. 

Rohit-Dhawan had a partnership of 210 runs

Dhawan is not part of the squad this time

Let us know that the Indian squad has been announced for Asia Kar 2023 starting from 30th August, in which Shikhar Dhawan has not been included. Shubman Gill has been kept as opener in the team along with Rohit Sharma.
