Team India Ishan Kishan Suryakumar Yadav: Team India recently faced defeat in the T20 series against West Indies. Earlier, had won 2-1 in the ODI series. However, in this also the performance of the players of Team India was not good. The former selector of the Indian team has given a reaction regarding the middle order of Team India. He believes that Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan can be good options for the middle order if KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer are not fit.
According to the news of India Today, Saba Karim said, “Selectors can look at KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer as an option if they are fit.” They may get a chance. But even if there is a delay, the team will be declared by 20. They have time till then only. If he does not fit then Ishaan Kishan can be a good option. They can also bat in the middle order with the opening.”
He said, “If Shreyas Iyer is not fit, then there are two-three more options. Tilak Verma, Sanju Samson and Suryakumar can be given a chance. But I would like to choose Suryakumar Yadav. He has ODI experience in domestic and international. I would like to go with Suryakumar only.”
Significantly, Surya has played 26 ODIs for India so far. During this, 511 runs have been scored. Surya has scored 2 half-centuries in this format. He has a good record in domestic matches. Talking about Ishaan Kishan, he has played 17 ODIs for India. During this, 694 runs have been scored. Ishaan has scored a double century in this format. His best score is 210 runs.
