Satyendar Jain Bail: Former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain has got interim bail on health grounds. The Supreme Court has given interim bail to Jain for 6 weeks and said that he can get treated in a private hospital. But while out of jail, he should not try to influence the witnesses. Do not give any statement to the media and do not go out of Delhi without the permission of the court. The next hearing of the matter will be held in the Supreme Court on July 10.

Satyendra Jain, accused of corruption and money laundering, has been in jail for almost 1 year. During this, a controversy also arose regarding the VIP facility he was getting in the jail. In response to this, it was said on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party that Jain is ill. They need special support.

Once again, for some time, Jain’s health deteriorating in the jail was coming to the fore. He has also been admitted to the hospital. Senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, appearing for him in the Supreme Court, applied for bail on humanitarian grounds. Singhvi told the judges that Jain had a spinal problem. His weight has reduced by 35 kg.

Opposition by ED

Additional Solicitor General SV Raju, appearing for the Enforcement Directorate (ED), opposed this. He said that Jain’s illness is already there. His weight has reduced due to fasting being done for religious reasons. Raju demanded doctors from AIIMS or Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital to examine Jain’s health.
