PM Modi Song Video: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a huge gathering of Bihu artists at Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati during his visit to Assam on Friday (April 13). PM Modi wished Rongali Bihu and told about the development works being done by the government. PM Modi also sang a famous Assamese song during his speech.
PM Modi said, “At this time, a famous song written by famous litterateur and filmmaker Jyotiprasad Agarwala of Assam is being remembered. This song is ‘Biswa Bijoy Naujawan’. There is another specialty of this song, when Bharat Ratna Bhupen Hazarika ji was very young, he sang this song. Even today this song is a great inspiration for the youth of the country, for the youth of Assam. I will read a few lines of this song but first I want to know one thing from you, will you forgive me for the pronunciation fault?” After this the PM sang the lines of the song. People expressed happiness by clapping.

PM explained the meaning of the song
PM Modi also explained the meaning of the song. He said, “In this song, a call has been given to the youth of India that the youth of world victorious India, listen to the call of Mother India, be the agents of change, we will conquer death and open the doors of freedom.”
‘Assam becoming Avon Pradesh’
PM Modi said, “One, the occasion is so big, the celebration is so big, second – your enthusiasm, passion is wonderful.” I remember when I had come here during the assembly elections, I had said that the day is not far when people will speak Assam from ‘A’. Today Assam is really becoming Avon Pradesh. I wish the people of Assam and the people of the country a very happy Bihu.”

PM Modi listed these works of the government
PM Modi said, “Today Assam, North East have received the gift of AIIMS Guwahati and three new medical colleges.” Today many projects related to rail connectivity of North East have also started. Today, work has started on another bridge to increase connectivity on Brahmaputra. With the construction of a methanol plant, Assam will now be able to export methanol to neighboring countries as well. The work of re-development and beautification of Rang Ghar, a symbol of Assamese art-culture and tradition, has also started today. Many congratulations to all of you for this festival of culture and fast development that we are celebrating.”
