New York Man Threatens FBI: When Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officials arrived in America to arrest a man on charges of money fraud, the accused started threatening to jump down from the window of the building. The name of the alleged accused has been mentioned as Ian Mitchell. An arrest warrant was issued against him on charges of cheating of Rs.
When FBI officers arrived to arrest 35-year-old Ian Mitchell, he threatened to jump from the 31st-floor window of a 72-floor skyscraper in Manhattan to avoid arrest. That person broke the window of the building and sat on the shore.
Social Media Viral Video
In a video going viral on social media, Mr. Michel can be seen sitting at the window. People standing outside the building were watching the spectacle. While some people were also making videos. In the video, the accused is seen wearing a black T-shirt and black pants.
According to the post, Mitchell was allegedly trying to commit suicide and was threatening to jump from the 31st floor. The Emergency Services Unit of the New York Police Department (NYPD) responded. Keeping in mind the security reasons, the police also placed an air cushion right in the middle of the road. However, the police tried to persuade the accused to negotiate.

Allegations of fraud worth crores
The matter did not work out even after the police explained. After this a police officer broke the window from the floor just above Mitchell and Mitchell was arrested. This whole drama went on for about 8 hours. He was brought out of the building. The police put him in an ambulance and took him to the hospital for a mental checkup.
Ian Mitchell was accused of defrauding investors of thousands of dollars by pretending to be a rich man from Jamaica. Grabbed half life’s earnings of an Air Force ex-serviceman, which was around 1 lakh 58 thousand dollars (1 crore 29 lakh).
