Navratri 2023: You will not feel weak while fasting this Navratri, make these healthy sweets at home

Chaitra Navratri Recipes: Chaitra Navratri is starting from 22 March 2023. These days the devotees completely immerse themselves in the devotion of Goddess Durga. This year Navratri is falling on March 22 and will last till March 31, 2023. The interesting thing is that in India, we enjoy good food during festivals, fasting and feast. However, every year in the name of healthy fasting, most people fall prey to diseases by eating excessive sweets and snacks. Well, if you are one of them, then this year we have got you some healthy and delicious sweets that will make your Navratri fasting super healthy and delicious. Here are some easy recipes that can be made in minutes.

Sweet Potato Pudding

To make this healthy and mineral rich halwa, wash and peel the sweet potato and grate it well. Meanwhile, put 1 tbsp ghee in a pan, roast nuts and dry fruits and keep aside. Add sweet potatoes in the same pan and cook in the same ghee, then lower the flame and add milk, cardamom powder, saffron and stevia as per taste. Keep cooking till the halwa becomes thick and soft. Switch off the flame and serve hot. Add nuts and dried fruits, enjoy.

Gulab Shrikhand

This sweet dish can be made by straining fresh curd with a muslin cloth and keeping it overnight by keeping a heavy object. Keep in mind that you keep it in the fridge. To make this sweet treat, take a large bowl and add hung curd, whisk it well, add 2-3 tbsp rose water and whisk it into a smooth texture, add 2 tbsp dried rose petals, 2 tbsp Add rose syrup. (stevia/honey) beat and pour in a bowl and keep in fridge for 2-3 hours and then taste it during fasting. 

Fruit Yogurt

This healthy and easy recipe is made with 1 cup of cold fresh cream along with 1 cup of hung curd ½ tsp cardamom powder, 1 tsp rose water, stevia as per taste can be whipped and whisk the mixture till it becomes frothy. Add chopped fruits, berries and nuts, pour into creamy mixture and pour into bowl. Refrigerate and serve chilled.

Fig Pudding

This delicious kheer is perfect for sweet lovers, to make this easy fig kheer, soak dried figs in 1 cup of hot milk and make a smooth paste. Meanwhile, take a pan and boil milk in it, let it thicken and keep stirring with a spoon, when the kheer becomes thick, lower the flame and add fig paste, roasted nuts and dry fruits. Keep stirring it till it becomes thick and creamy. Serve chilled and enjoy.

Dry Fruit Laddu

This laddu can be made in few minutes, take a pan and put 1 table spoon of ghee in a pan and fry nuts like cashews, peanuts, almonds and cashew nuts. Put grated coconut in a pan and keep stirring with cardamom powder and jaggery. Cook the mixture till it thickens, add ground nuts and dry fruits. Apply a little ghee on your hand, take out the mixture, and make small laddus and enjoy.
