Bollywood films keep getting hit or flop. Today, where films with a budget of 50 to 100 crores flop at the box office, low budget films are seen collecting huge collections. Although there are some films, which may have flopped by not making a tremendous collection, but the story and actors of the film still win the hearts of the fans.

There was one such film that came in 1993, whose name was King Uncle. In this film of 2 hours 51 minutes, 17 actors worked, in which Shah Rukh Khan, Jackie Shroff, Nagma, Sushmita Mukherjee, Deb Mukherjee, Deven Verma, Yunus Parvez, Dinesh Hingoo, Dewan Sarar, Birbal, Coca Cola, Anu Aggarwal, Actors like Paresh Rawal, Dalip Tahil, Pooja Ruparel, Nivedita Joshi, Vivek Vaswani and Bharat Kapoor had worked. Although made in a budget of 3 crores, this film could not earn even 2 crores at the box office.

Talking about the unheard story related to this film, Shah Rukh Khan signed King Uncle because he was told that Amitabh Bachchan is also doing this film. But when director Rakesh Roshan could not sign Amitabh, Shah Rukh asked Rakesh Roshan if he could leave the film, then Rakesh said yes, he could, but he would love to have him in it. That’s why Shahrukh decided to stop.

Apart from this, it is said that Amitabh Bachchan had named Rakesh Roshan to take Jackie Shroff in the lead role. Because he wanted to take a break. While Govinda and Neelam were the first choices for the roles of Shah Rukh Khan and Nagma.
