According to the report of Hindustan Times, sources say that Madhuri Dixit Nene’s name is being considered for this. The film makers are trying to bring in a series of actors to play the role of Saroj ji in different phases of her life.
For example, one actress will portray the character of Saroj ji in her younger days while the other will bring on screen the character of her later age. Madhuri’s name is being considered for one of these. The source also said that there is a lot to cover in the biopic. “There are many things to show through the biopic because Saroj Khan’s life has been full of ups and downs and that is why the writers are still deciding which angle to choose to show the story.
A source also revealed that Dixit’s name is being considered for the film, “Six months ago, there were reports of Madhuri Dixit being in the lead role. She was also discussed for this and she is the best option because Saroj Khan has played a big role in defining Madhuri’s career. Most of his popular songs from Dhak Dhak to Ek Do Teen were hits only because of Saroj Khan. Even Madhuri always made sure that Saroj Khan choreographed her.
