Malaysia: A horrific plane crash took place in Malaysia in the year 1976, in which many big politicians and ministers were killed. After this plane crash, the government was heavily criticized, because of this the government did not make the report of the accident public for decades. But now, 47 years after the accident, the government has made a report public, in which many revelations related to the plane crash have been made. 

According to the report of the Malaysian government, the turboprop of the aircraft was not installed correctly, due to which the pilot lost control and this horrific accident happened. It has also been informed in the report that the turboprop was Australian made. Also the aircraft was also made in Australia. There was no other defect in the aircraft. 

The plane was going to Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Sabah state, when the accident happened. The plane crash killed the then Chief Minister of Sabah State, Tun Fuad Stephens, and the state’s Housing Minister, Finance Minister and Communications Minister. 

The accident happened after losing control 

It has been told in the report that neither there was a fire in the plane, nor there was any technical fault, nor there was an explosion. According to the report, more goods were loaded in the plane than required. The baggage of another aircraft was also loaded in this aircraft. Also, the luggage was not loaded properly, due to which the pilot lost control in the air, and the plane crashed. 

11 people died

This accident took place on 6 June 1976, in which a total of 11 people died. An aircraft named Nomad N-22B was the victim of an accident, which was made in Australia. The incident took place during landing at Kota Kinabalu International Airport in Malaysia.
