Paryushan Parv 2023 Wishes: Every year in the month of Bhadrapada, Paryushan Parv is celebrated by the people of Shwetambar and Digambara communities of Jainism. This year it started on 12 September 2023 and will end on 19 September 2023.
The Paryushan festival of Digambar Jains lasts for 10 days and the people of Shwetambar Jains celebrate this festival for 8 days. The five duties of Paryushan are Samvatsari, Keshalochan, Pratikraman, Tapashraya and criticism and apology. This festival tells about the importance of these duties and teaches to follow them. It is believed that by following these duties of Jainism one attains salvation.
