Make Buckwheat Paratha at home for Navratri fast
Add buckwheat flour instead of flour and prepare stuffing by adding only potatoes, salt, black pepper and green chilies. This basic paratha recipe tastes delicious when served with curd and turns into a wholesome meal. You don’t need to starve yourself during the fast as you can easily make this stuffed recipe and enjoy during the days of Navratri. So try this recipe today itself. Ingredients of Buckwheat Paratha
1 cup buckwheat
1 medium green chili
as required rock salt
ghee as required
1 big potato
water as required
1/4 tsp black Chili
How to make Buckwheat Paratha
Step 1- Prepare the stuffing
First of all boil the potatoes till they are fully cooked. Now peel it and mash it well in a bowl. Add chopped green chilies, salt and black pepper. Mix well.
Step 2- Prepare the dough
Put buckwheat flour in a bowl. Add salt as per taste. Add warm water in batches and knead the dough.
Step 3- Prepare the Stuffed Balls
Now make small balls from the dough and roll them. Stuff each one with stuffing and seal the edges to make stuffed balls. Wrap the parantha in flour and roll it well.
Step 4- Prepare the parathas
Now heat a griddle and put the stuffed paratha in it. After a minute turn it on the other side. Put some ghee and let it cook. Now flip again and sprinkle more oil. When the paratha turns golden-brown from both the sides, it is ready. Repeat the process to make more such parathas.
Step 5- Serve
Serve Kuttu Paratha with curd and eat.
