Stock Market Updates: Trading started well in the Indian stock market on September 15 amid positive global signals. Today i.e. the last trading day of the week, the stock market continues to rise. On Friday, benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty opened in the green.
Today, BSE Sensex, the major benchmark index based on 30 shares, opened at 67,756.50 with a rise of 237.50 points or 0.35 percent. At the same time, Nifty of National Stock Exchange i.e. NSE opened at 20,165.30 with a gain of 62.20 points or 0.31 percent. With this, Nifty has reached a new all-time high.
In today’s early trading on NSE, Bajaj Auto, Hindalco, Tata Steel, JSW Steel and Wipro were mainly among the profit making stocks, while HUL, Asian Paints, ITC, Titan companies were in loss making business.
