Maharashtra School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar on Thursday told the Assembly that 30,000 vacancies of teachers are being filled through Teacher Eligibility and Intelligence Test (TAIT) and the process will be completed by April.
The minister said that it has been decided to conduct TAIT exam twice a year.
Responding to a question during the Question Hour, Kesarkar said that IBPS and Tata Consultancy Services have been entrusted with the recruitment. He said that these companies also work for the Central Government and are trustworthy. He said that the recruitment process is expected to be completed by April and new teachers would be available for teaching in the next academic year.
