Sources said that the Lok Sabha Speaker has sent all the complaints to the Privilege Committee headed by BJP MP Sunil Kumar Singh.

Danish Ali on Thursday expressed hope that the Lok Sabha Speaker will take action against Bidhuri for using objectionable words against him. Referring to some past actions in the Lok Sabha, he said in a conversation with ‘PTI-Bhasha’, “If you want to pay tribute to the traditions and the Constitution of Babasaheb, you want to destroy the parliamentary democratic system of this country and If you are providing a platform for hate speech, the country is watching…, people will respond. I hope that the Lok Sabha Speaker will take action on this.

What did Nishikant Dubey say?

BJP MP Dubey, who had complained against Danish Ali, posted on ‘X’, “Thanks to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla ji, he entrusted the responsibility of investigation to the Lok Sabha committee in the Danish Ali case.”

Citing the first few incidents, he claimed that today this has been possible because BJP has majority in the Lok Sabha, otherwise the first Lok Sabha had seen the shoe and mike fight of RJD-JDU-Congress in 2006, Sonia Gandhi’s fight in 2012. Neither a committee was formed nor any punishment was given in the cases and the fighting that took place during the formation of Telangana in 2014.
