Ajit Pawar faction leader of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) met Sharad Pawar in Mumbai today. Apart from Ajit Pawar, Praful Patel, Chhagan Bhujbal and other leaders were included in these leaders. After this meeting, Praful Patel told the press at Mumbai’s YB Chavan Center that today Ajit Pawar, Chhagan Bhujbal and all of us had come to seek the blessings of respected Sharad Pawar. We touched his feet and requested him to consider keeping the party united. He didn’t react.
Praful Patel said that we had come directly without asking for time. We came to know that Mr. Pawar has come, so we came to meet him and touched his feet and requested him to consider keeping the party united. Pawar saheb has not given any reaction, just listened calmly.

On the other hand, state president of NCP Jayant Patil said that nine ministers who left NCP and joined the government suddenly came to meet Pawar today. Everyone expressed heartfelt regret and requested that a solution should be found for the situation that has arisen.

Answering the questions of the press, Jayant Patil said that, we are not in the government, some people have gone to the other side and they have supported the government, but we have not supported the government. There is a split in our party…this is a fact. All of us working under the leadership of Sharad Pawar will sit with Shiv Sena and Congress in the assembly.
