Bihar News: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar (Nitish Kumar) has called the demand to bring a law on population control unnecessary. He said that this would be a wrong step and nothing would be achieved by it. According to the Chief Minister, this problem can be solved only by spreading awareness. The CM said, “Some people keep saying that ban by making a law that no more than two children will be born in a family.” He said that making laws is a very bad thing, it is a wrong thing, but we are doing this work (spreading awareness).

Significantly, in the beginning of this month, there was a ruckus regarding Nitish’s statement regarding population control in Bihar. Nitish Kumar had said that the population in Bihar will not come under control because men do not take responsibility while women are uneducated. The opposition BJP had reacted sharply to his comment.
Addressing a public meeting in Vaishali, the CM of Bihar had said, “If women study, only then the fertility rate will decrease… It is still the same. … If women are educated, they get to know everything, how brother We have to avoid. If women were better educated or aware, they would know how to protect themselves from getting pregnant. Men are not ready to think.”
