India has rejected the allegations of murder of Khatistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. India said that it has heard the statement of the Prime Minister and its Foreign Minister in the Parliament of Canada and it rejects it. Allegations of Indian Government’s involvement in any act of violence in Canada are completely absurd and motivated. Similar allegations were made by Canadian PM Justin Trudeau against our Prime Minister and they were completely rejected. India is a country committed to the rule of law and a democratic polity.

Canada’s allegations baseless-India
India has said that such baseless allegations are an attempt to divert attention from Khalistani terrorists and extremists. Khalistanis have been given shelter in Canada. These people remain a threat to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of India. The Canadian government’s inaction on Khalitani and extremist issues has been a long-standing and continuing cause for concern.
Illegal activities in Canada are nothing new – India
India said that Canadian political figures openly expressing sympathy for Khalistanis and extremists is a matter of great concern. Canada is not new to illegal activities including murder, human trafficking and organized crime. We reject any attempt to link the Indian government to any such developments. India has also appealed to the Canadian government to take immediate and effective legal action against the anti-India activities taking place on its soil.
