A strange case has come to light from Lal Pathar located in Ganjbasoda Tehsil in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh. Here, a 16-year-old girl has made a serious allegation against her own mother, saying that her mother sold her for two and a half lakh rupees and got her married to a man twice her age. Additional SP Sameer Yadav has ordered an inquiry in this matter.
Actually, a 16-year-old innocent girl lives in Lal Pathar of Ganjbasoda. Recently, this girl reached the district headquarters with a complaint against her mother and narrated her ordeal to the collector. The victim told that her date of birth as per Aadhaar card is June 28, 2007 and her mother had got her married to a person twice her age for greed of lakhs of rupees. Not only this, the victim told that the person with whom she got married is also already married. The victim says that she opposed the marriage several times, but her mother did not listen and got her married on 27 June. Since then till now the victim’s husband has kept her imprisoned in a closed room. He beats her everyday, but as soon as she got a chance, the victim ran away from there and reached her sister-in-law and narrated her ordeal.
The minor told that in the marriage card, her husband has written his name as Keshav Parihar instead of Keshav Raghuvanshi. Keshav has also written his address as Murwas village, whereas he is a resident of Chhipikheda village. On the other hand, the victim’s mother has left her husband i.e. the victim’s father and started living with a person named Kanchhedilal Kushwaha. Both mother and Kanchhedilal together abducted him first. After this, she was forcibly sold to Keshav Raghuvanshi, a resident of village Chhipikheda Tehsil Sironj, for Rs 2.50 lakh and got her married, and when the victim opposed the marriage, Keshav abused her and beat her up.
Even the police did not listen to the complaint
In the case, when the victim reached Ganjbasoda police station, her report was not written there. He said that he files complaints of minors up to 15 years of age. This case is of 16 years of age, so the victim was chased away from the police station without writing a report.
