The departments of the ministers of Punjab have been reshuffled. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has kept the Housing and Urban Development department from Minister Aman Arora with him, while the Information and Public Relations department has also been given from Aman Arora to Chetan Singh Jauramajra. Aman Arora will now have a total of four departments including administrative reforms.
The food processing department has been taken back from Chetan Singh Jauramajra and given to Laljit Singh Bhullar. The Chief Minister has sent a letter to the Governor to allot the department.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday reshuffled the portfolios of five Punjab ministers and withdrew two important portfolios including housing and urban development from Aman Arora. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has reshuffled the portfolios of his five ministers Aman Arora, Gurmeet Singh Meet Hair, Laljit Singh Bhullar, Chetan Singh Jauramajra and Anmol Gagan Mann.
The Chief Minister will now keep the Housing and Urban Development Department with himself, which was earlier held by Arora. The Chief Minister has also given employment generation and training department to AAP MLA from Sunam, Arora. The information and public relations department was earlier with Arora, but now it has been given to Jauramajra. Transport Minister Bhullar will now also handle the food processing department, which was earlier held by Jauramajra.
Chief Minister Mann decided to reshuffle the portfolios of some of his ministers when his government completed one year on Wednesday.
