In Kannauj district’s Chibramau police station area, a Class IX girl student was allegedly threatened by a youth that he would kill her by throwing acid on her if she did not marry him. The police have registered a case against the accused youth and started investigation.

According to the police, a girl student studying in class nine, a resident of Kanshi Ram Colony of Chibramau police station area of ​​Kannauj district, has been threatened by a young man to marry her, otherwise he will kill her by throwing acid on her. The minor victim accused the young man. It is said that when she goes to college to study, the young man follows her and pressures her to marry and threatens to kill her by throwing acid if she does not marry.

Kannauj Superintendent of Police (SP) Kunwar Anupam Singh said that on the basis of the victim’s mother’s complaint, a case has been registered under relevant sections and the matter is being investigated. Santosh Kumar Kushwaha, Inspector in-charge of Chibramau police station said that the complaint of the victim is being investigated. If the complaint is found correct, action will be taken against the accused youth.
