Lucknow’s political temperature has increased in extreme cold. Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav suddenly reached the police headquarters at 11 am on Sunday. When the police asked Akhilesh Yadav for tea, he said, “If you are mixing poison in it and giving it?” SP’s social media worker Manish Jagan Agarwal was arrested by the UP police on Sunday morning. In protest against this, Akhilesh Yadav reached the police headquarters with a complaint against some leaders of BJP’s social media.

Akhilesh Yadav was present in the police headquarters for about two hours. Meanwhile, a large number of SP workers gathered outside the headquarters. Akhilesh Yadav gave a statement that no senior police officer was present to talk to him. On this, the hands and legs of the UP police swelled and in a short while the top officials reached the spot. He accepted the complaint letter from Akhilesh Yadav.

Akhilesh Yadav was asked for tea by the police officers at the police headquarters. On this he said, “No, you don’t have tea, we invite you.” After this he asked a party worker to see if a tea shop has opened, then bring tea.

After this, Akhilesh Yadav told the police officers, “We will not drink your tea.” Will not drink tea from here, will drink from outside. Or we will bring our tea, take your cup. We can’t drink, will you give poison? Yep, we’re not sure. Really don’t believe me. We will order tea from outside, you also drink it, we will also drink it.

The police officers were surprised at this attitude of the SP president. However, on the complaint of Akhilesh Yadav, the police has also registered a case against Richa Rajput of BJP’s IT Cell.

Later, ADG Law and Order of UP Police Prashant Kumar held a press conference on this matter. He said, “Later he (Akhilesh Yadav) drank tea in the presence of the officers. Everyone treated him well.” All senior officers were present there. He was listened to and everything was explained to him. They left most satisfied.

After leaving the police headquarters, Akhilesh reached Lucknow jail to meet his IT cell worker Manish Agarwal.

Samajwadi Party’s media cell official Manish Jagan Agarwal was arrested from Hazratganj area of ​​Lucknow on Sunday morning on charges of making derogatory remarks against women on social media. Angered by Agarwal’s arrest, SP workers had gathered outside the Uttar Pradesh police headquarters in Lucknow demanding his immediate release.

Significantly, on January 6, a woman office-bearer of the Uttar Pradesh unit of the BJP Yuva Morcha had filed a case on the Twitter handle of the SP media cell at Hazratganj Kotwali on charges of rape and death threats. Agarwal used to operate this handle. Describing the arrest of Aggarwal as ‘shameful’, the SP has demanded his immediate release.

The party said in a tweet from its official handle, “The arrest of Samajwadi Party worker Manish Jagan Agarwal by the Lucknow Police is condemnable and shameful. The police should release the SP worker immediately.
