In Nuh of Mewat district of Haryana, there was a ruckus on Monday during the Brajmandal Yatra being taken out by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Matrushakti Durga Vahini. There is news of stone pelting and arson after the clash between the two groups. The miscreants also set several vehicles on fire. Stones were also pelted at the police. According to the police, so far more than 20 people have been injured in the violence. There is also news of firing by people at some places. Due to this, the road from Gurugram to Sohna has been closed.
According to the report, about 2500 people who came to participate in the Shobha Yatra after the ruckus are stuck in the Nalhar temple. A large number of these include children and women. Stones are being pelted outside the temple. Drivers of buses, cars and other vehicles have also gone inside the temple to save their lives.
Internet shutdown and section 144 imposed
Nuh district administration has called police force from other districts to deal with the situation. More than one thousand police personnel have been deployed. The boundaries of the district were sealed. Deputy Commissioner Prashant Panwar said that Section-144 has been imposed in the district for peace. During this, there is a ban on gathering of 5 or more persons, carrying any type of licensed weapon or fire arms, sword, gandasa, lathi, spear, axe, jelly, knife and other weapons. This order has come into force with immediate effect and will continue till further orders. Action will be taken against those who disobey the orders under Section-188 of the Indian Penal Code.
Uproar near Tiranga Park
According to the report, on Monday, the Braj Mandal Yatra had left from Nuh’s Nalhad Shiva temple towards Ferozepur-Jhirka. As soon as the yatra reached near Tiranga Park, a group of people had already gathered there. As soon as they came face to face, there was a dispute between the two sides. Stone pelting started in no time. There is also news of arson in some vehicles. The police running in the procession is trying to control the situation.
Accusing these people of ruckus
According to the report, Monu Manesar of Nuh and his associates associated with Bajrang Dal are accused of killing many people. He had made the video viral a few days ago and had openly challenged that he would stay in Mewat during the yatra. On which the people of the area also retaliated. The atmosphere of the area was already hot. It is being told that some crowd saw Monu Manesar and his companions during the procession. After this there was a fierce ruckus on the Gurugram-Alwar National Highway near Nuh city.

During the uproar, incidents ranging from firing to arson took place. Several government vehicles were also vandalised. Some private vehicles were also targeted by the mob. Overall, about 1000 jawans were fielded to control the matter. The police also fired to calm the matter. The situation is tense and sporadic incidents are being reported at many places.

After the incident, the route has been diverted on the Nuh-Hodal route. Apart from this, Nuh city is completely deserted. After this incident, most of the market has been closed and people have gone to their homes.

After the escalation of the dispute, the market of the entire Nuh city has been closed. First of all the shops in the area around Tiranga Park were closed. After that, apart from the main market of Nuh City, the shopkeepers also closed the other markets of the city including Naya Bazar, Gali Bazar and Hodal Bypass. In view of the tension, people are being instructed to stay in their homes.
Deputy Commissioner’s appeal for peace
Nuh Deputy Commissioner Prashant Panwar has appealed to the residents of the district to maintain peace and live together with mutual brotherhood. He said that the violent incident that took place during the Brijmandal religious yatra is condemnable. In such a situation, the district administration appeals to the people to cooperate in maintaining law and order. Section-144 has been implemented to maintain peace and law and order in the district. At present the situation is under control.

The Deputy Commissioner said that the district administration is keeping a close watch on those who disturb peace in Nuh. No one is allowed to spread nuisance. He said that people should not pay attention to rumors during this period and avoid making any kind of negative comments.
