“Didn’t salute?”: Jharkhand Congress leader’s son allegedly thrashes 17-year-old boy

A video of a 17-year-old boy being beaten up by the son of a Congress leader in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad area is going viral on social media. In Dhanbad, Ranveer Singh, son of Congress leader Ranvijay Singh, thrashed a student just because the boy did not bow down. The son of the Congress leader along with his friends and personal bodyguard beat the boy with kicks, punches and hockey sticks. After this, the boy was injured by hitting him on the head with the butt of the pistol.

When the Congress leader’s son was not satisfied, he forcibly abducted him by making him sit in the vehicle. After this, the student’s father was called and threatened. The father of the victim student has registered a case against Congress leader’s son and others at Saraidhela police station.

The victim student told that the Congress leader’s son killed him only because he did not do ‘Pranam’. The father of the victim student told that his son was beaten up by the son of Congress leader Ranvijay Singh. In which he is seriously injured. An FIR has been lodged against Ranveer Singh and three others in Saraidhela police station.

At the same time, in this matter, Congress leader Ranvijay Singh said that in the video which has gone viral, it is not clear anywhere that he is his son. There is no authenticity of the video. There should be a forensic examination of the video.
