Method-
To make Makhana Kheer, first roast the Makhana and cashew nuts in a pan with some ghee and then sprinkle a little rock salt on them. As soon as it cools down, add some cardamom along with makhana and cashew nuts in a blender and grind it. Take another deep pan, add milk in it and let it boil. Add sugar in it, after that add the makhana mixture and mix well. Now add the remaining roasted makhana and cashew nuts. Stir continuously until it thickens. After garnishing with chopped dry fruits, you can serve the kheer hot or cold if you want. Prasad can also be offered to Goddess Lakshmi during Dhanteras worship. It is believed that Goddess Lakshmi loves white colored things.
