Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Thursday that the mountain of garbage in Delhi’s Ghazipur will be used for road construction. Out of the said waste, 20 lakh tonnes of waste will be used for the construction of Urban Extension Road 2. With this work, the mountain of garbage in Ghazipur will be reduced, pollution will be reduced and with the construction of the road, the traffic jam of Delhi will also be reduced.

Gadkari said this during the inspection of Urban Extension Road 2 today. Lieutenant Governor of Delhi VK Saxena was also present with Gadkari.
It is known that the journey from Delhi to Chandigarh by car is going to be easy. From October this year, people will be able to travel in just 2 hours. This will be possible after the completion of Urban Extension Road 2. Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari inspected it along with MPs and officials in the bus on Friday.
Work will be completed in October this year
Gadkari said that to get rid of the problem of traffic jam and pollution in Delhi, the central government is working on many levels, one of which is the Urban Extension Road. It started in November 2021 and now it is going to be completed in October this year.
This whole project is worth 7716 crores, which will improve the connectivity of West Delhi, South Delhi, Gurugram, IGI Airport, Dhaula Kuan, Mukarba Chowk, Chandigarh and Jammu Kashmir. There are a total of 27 bridges, 27 flyovers and 11 underpasses on this road.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari during the tour with the officials said that Delhi being the capital of the country, more emphasis is being laid on connectivity with nearby areas like Delhi to Dehradun, Delhi to Haridwar, Delhi to Jaipur and Delhi to Chandigarh. There are areas.
