The bail plea of Manish Sisodia (Manish Sisodia ED Custody) against the arrest of CBI in the Delhi Excise Policy Case will now be heard on March 21 at 2 pm. At the same time, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is also investigating in this matter. The ED had sought a 10-day remand for questioning Sisodia in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court. However, the court has sent Manish Sisodia to ED remand for 7 days.
The ED said in its argument that although this decision of the liquor policy has been told by the Group of Ministers, but the fact is that apart from one man, no one else was aware of it. The ED while presenting its argument in the court said That Vijay Nair was leading the entire syndicate. Kavita had met Vijay Nair only. In this regard, the ED has presented a screenshot of the WhatsApp chat between K Kavita and Vijay Nair.
Advocate Joheb Hussain presented the side of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the court. He claimed that there was a conspiracy behind the formulation of the liquor policy. By changing its rules, some special people were given 12% benefit instead of 6%. Sisodia also destroyed the digital evidence related to it.

The agency said that notices have been sent to 7 more people in the liquor policy case so that they can be interrogated face to face with Sisodia.

Manish Sisodia’s lawyer Dayan Krishnan said, ‘ED is saying that this policy is wrong. An elected government has made this policy. It passes through many layers. It goes to the government, it goes to the officers. Finance and goes to the Law Secretary. This policy goes to the Lieutenant Governor.
ED is speaking in haste, there are many such examples
He said, ‘This liquor policy went to the Lieutenant Governor. LG means Central Government. He had asked 3 things, but none of them was related to profit margin or eligibility. ED is talking about haste. I can give many such examples of haste. Demonetisation was done and it was also declared constitutional by the Supreme Court.
